Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Does JSP offer digital files, prints, or albums?
I provide high-resolution digital images that you’re welcome to print and share for personal use. This means you own the printing rights once your images are shared with you! As the photographer, I retain the copyright to all images. If you prefer that your photos not be shared publicly or used in promotional materials, please let me know at the time of booking. Otherwise, select images may be featured in my portfolio, website, or social media.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Depends! Your session fee covers the full experience—from capturing your special moments in high-resolution digital JPGs to carefully reviewing, editing, and delivering your final images. It does not include travel to and from the session (over 15 miles outside homebase), lodging (if applicable), and any additional costs such as parking, entry fees, or required permits for desired locations.
Can I request specific locations, poses or shots?
Yes! I love when clients bring ideas and inspiration to me ahead of time. (Show me your pinterest inspo!!) Doing so allows me to get a better understanding of what you're looking to get out of our session time together. If you’ve a location in mind, or have no idea where you’d like your images to be captured – no sweat. I’ve got you! I will happily provide recommendations for you to decide upon.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot and I need to cancel?
New England weather can be unpredictable, so I completely understand if plans need to change. If you need to cancel or reschedule due to weather or unexpected circumstances, please let me know as soon as possible. I'm happy to work with you to find a new date. Early notice is always appreciated—it helps me manage my schedule and ensures the best use of both our time.
